Agreement
By using Image Tools ("the Service"), operated by CleanPX ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.
Description of service
Image Tools is a collection of browser-based image conversion and editing tools. All image processing happens locally in your browser. Files are not uploaded to any server.
Free and Pro tiers
Free tier: All tools are available for single-file use at no cost, with no account required. Free usage includes a resolution limit of 4,096 pixels on the longest side.
Pro tier: A paid subscription that adds batch processing (up to 50 files at once with ZIP download) and higher resolution support (up to 16,384 pixels). Pro is available at $8/month (monthly billing) or $69/year (annual billing).
Pro subscription terms
- Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Prices are in USD.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled before the renewal date. Your payment method will be automatically charged $8/month for monthly plans or $69/year for annual plans at each renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal, not mid-cycle.
Refund policy
All paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Pro for any reason, request a refund within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.
Refunds after 30 days are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Acceptable use
You may use Image Tools for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is visible in the browser
- Resell or redistribute the Service as your own product
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to process illegal content
Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of all files you process using Image Tools. We make no claim to your input files or output files. Since files never leave your browser, we never have access to them.
The Image Tools website, code, design, and branding are owned by CleanPX. Third-party libraries used by the Service are listed on our open source licenses page.
Disclaimer of warranties
Image Tools is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Output quality will meet specific requirements
- The Service will be compatible with all browsers or devices
Image processing depends on your browser's built-in capabilities (Canvas API, WebGPU). Results may vary across browsers and devices.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanPX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or damage resulting from reliance on output files.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts located in Delaware.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Australia, nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
